Holidays

Gosh, it's been a while since the last update and time has flown. I had a long "holiday" at the kennels while my HF was in Vietnam. To be honest, I don't mind going there - plenty of company and they like me there so it's not too bad. However, it was better when we all went away together - it was just for a long weekend but it was lots of fun. I even got to chase some sheep. I'm not sure that HF was that happy about me doing that but really, it is in the genes, and there was no harm done - the sheep got a bit of a move along and I thought I was in heaven. I did have to pay a penalty though - ended up on the lead any time there was any sign of ovine life!


The picture shows a good friend and me curled up on the couch at the farmhouse we were staying at. We had some good times together. I'll be quite happy to do that again! There was a great stream there too - complete with running water (a bit of a novelty given the drought we've been experiencing) and we had a couple of walks on the beach. I'm not sure about beaches - the water tastes funny but still, there was plenty to sniff and a couple of fishermen had their bait sitting there for the taking. (I hasten to add, I didn't actually take any, much as I was tempted - but someone I know did!)
