My swimming pool

Like I said, it is warm here and much as I like my exercise, I do find I get a bit hot and bothered. Usually I can go for a swim in the little lake up in the park or find a hole in the creek but often I'm still holding out for some refreshment at home. My HF has found me a clam - actually, my original owner has paid for it - and what a pleasure it is. See what I mean. With the water shortages on at the moment, she probably feels she can't fill it up but even so, there's enough in here to wet me! Thanks for that. (And she's recycling it on to the garden so there is a double use.)

The other photo was apparently taken one night after we had had visitors. The other dog had been pretty keen to find my bones and I had had to keep track of her all night to make sure she didn't make off with any of them. That probably explains why I fell asleep while I was chewing my chew stick. I think this is what they mean when they say candid camera!
